Kuala Lumpur, 1 July 2022 – Qoala Malaysia grows its list of insurance partners with the onboarding of Lonpac Insurance Bhd. Lonpac Insurance is the latest insurer to join Qoala Malaysia in providing the public with protection on car insurance.
“We are excited to have Lonpac Insurance with us in empowering and enabling the Malaysian public on their insurance journey. Customers will now have a greater option in choosing products that best fits their needs, strengthening Qoala as a convenient, transparent and affordable insurance marketplace”, said Akash Sharma, Head of Qoala App.

Qoala Malaysia has also seen strong growth in the last six months, reflected through its product offerings expansion and the number of insurance partners onboarded, resulting in a 3-fold increase in sales.
To date, Qoala Malaysia has six insurance partners covering motor, property, personal accidents and travel. Among them are AXA Affin General Insurance (is now known as Generali Malaysia), Etiqa General Insurance & Takaful, Lonpac Insurance, Takaful IKHLAS, Tune Protect and Zurich General Insurance & Takaful.
