Qoala Onboards AmGeneral Insurance, Widening Its Policy Options

Kuala Lumpur, 8 December 2022 – Qoala grows its list of insurance partners by onboarding AmGeneral Insurance Berhad, widening its policy options for car and motorcycle insurance. The partnership strengthens the insurtech as Malaysia’s most comprehensive insurance and takaful marketplace.

To date, Qoala has seven insurance and takaful partners in Malaysia covering car, motorcycle, property, personal accidents, travel and health. Among them are AmGeneral Insurance, AXA Affin General Insurance (is now known as Generali Malaysia), Etiqa General Insurance & Takaful, Lonpac Insurance, Takaful IKHLAS, Tune Protect, and Zurich General Insurance & Takaful.

Synonymous with being a convenient, transparent and affordable insurance and takaful marketplace, Qoala has seen strong growth this year on the back of product offerings expansion and insurance partners onboarded. The growth is expected to contribute 11-fold revenue by year-end.
